It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season. Check in at Sentrim Amboseli.

After breakfast we will depart for the full day game drive with picnic lunch. Amboseli elephants are famous for making their way into the park in early morning which is their traditions as they spend the day in marshes where there is plenty of food, they can eat, wallow and swim. Later at 3.30 pm you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 : Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast we depart Lake Nakuru National Park, it is a rhino sanctuary hosting both Southern white rhino and Black Rhino. Hot lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge then proceed for a game drive. (It is known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores.

The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. The number of flamingos on the lake varies with water and food conditions and the best vantage point is from Baboon Cliff. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes, black rhinos and white rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park has recently been enlarged partly to provide the sanctuary for the black rhino one of the big attractions is the big five.) After the game drive we shall proceed back to the lodge, rest as you await dinner.
